Ukrainian Spring: Against all hope, I hope

As part of the Ukrainian Spring Festival, you are warmly invited to an evening where Finnish and Ukrainian music and poetry meet under the words of the 19th‑century poet Lesya Ukrainka: Spera spem spero (“Without hope, I hope”).The musicians Aleksander Sätterström, Yongmin Lee, Albin Uusijärvi, and Antonio Roland from the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra performs two string quartets: Jean Sibelius’s taut and introspective Voces Intimae (“The Inner Voices”) and Borys Lyatoshynsky’s emotionally charged fourth quartet.
