The Swedish Radio ChoirThe Swedish Radio Choir biographyFor nearly 100 years, the Radio Choir has paved the way for the development of the Swedish choral tradition and has been a role model for choirs around the world.
Chief conductor Kaspars PutniņšKaspars Putniņš, cheif conductorKaspars Putniņš has been the Chief Conductor of the Radio Choir since 2020 and the newly appointed Chief Conductor of the Latvian Radio Choir, with whom he has worked closely for over 30 years. He was previously the Chief Conductor of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir from 2014 to 2021.

Idag kl 11 släpps biljetterna till en ny säsong i Berwaldhallen, fylld av stora musikupplevelser, starka röster och spännande möten. Dessutom släpps nyheten att konserten Bowie in Berlin kommer tillbaka i november, där Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester uppmärksammar artisten David Bowie som gick bort för 10 år sedan.

När barnens favorit Humlan Djojj flyger vilse hamnar han mitt i Berwaldhallen – omgiven av en levande orkester som surrar som en hel värld av insekter. Samtidigt ropar hans vän Flugan Flax på hjälp efter att ha fastnat i en bastuba. Nu släpps två konserter med Humlan Djojj och Radiosymfonikerna i oktober.

I en tid då publikintresset för konserterna i Berwaldhallen är rekordstort presenteras säsongen 2026/2027. Från september till juni möter Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester och Radiokören gästande dirigenter och solister i musik som sträcker sig över flera århundraden, fram till idag. Orkesterns nye chefsdirigent Andrés Orozco–Estrada leder dem i flera konserter. Den svenska sopranen Malin Byström blir Artist in Residence och temat “Rötter” löper som en röd tråd genom säsongen.
