Mozart, Korngold & von Paradis
The South Korean conductor Eun Sun Kim makes her debut at Berwaldhallen with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, alongside the french pianist Cédric Tiberghien performing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's delightful Piano Concerto No. 23. The concert begins with the overture to Austrian composer Maria Theresia von Paradis' comic opera Der Schulkandidat (The School Candidate). Following this is Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Symphony in F sharp major, where glimpses of his own film music create a dramatic reflection on the horrors of World War II, concludes the concert.
This production is part of one or more concert series.

Due to illness Cédric Tiberghien will replace Piotr Anderszewski with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Noncert No 23.
